Our Story

The short version: I got tired of soap that fought my skin.

Noosky didn’t start in a boardroom. It started in a kitchen, with a pile of drugstore bars that left my skin tight, dry, and itchy every single time. I’d flip the labels over and find the same story — synthetic detergents, sulfates, and artificial fragrance I couldn’t pronounce, let alone trust. I was basically paying to strip my own skin.

So I started making my own.

I taught myself the cold-process method — the slow, old-fashioned way real soap has been made for centuries — because I wanted a bar that worked with my skin instead of against it. The first few batches were rough. But somewhere along the way I made a bar that actually left my skin soft and comfortable, and I never looked back.

Why cold process actually matters

Here’s the thing most people don’t know. When soap is made, a natural moisturizer called glycerin forms during the process. Big commercial manufacturers extract that glycerin and sell it off separately — it’s more profitable in lotions — which leaves you with a hard, stripped-down bar that quietly dries out your skin. Cold-process soap keeps that glycerin right where it belongs: in the bar, on your skin, doing its job.

That’s the whole difference. Every Noosky bar is handmade in small batches using the cold-process method, so every ingredient stays intact and nothing good gets stripped out.

What goes in (and what never will)

Noosky bars are made with natural, skin-loving ingredients — shea butter, real plant oils, honey, and botanicals. No harsh sulfates. No synthetic detergents. No unnecessary chemicals dumped in to cut costs. If it wouldn’t be good enough for my own skin, it doesn’t go in the bar.

How we grew

Honestly? Through real people. Noosky grew organically through a TikTok community of folks who were just as fed up as I was — people who tried a bar, felt the difference, and told their friends. No giant ad budget. Just a product that works and a community that switched to natural soap and never looked back. That trust means everything to us, and we don’t take it for granted.

Your skin deserves better than what’s sitting on the shelf at the drugstore. You deserve to know exactly what you’re putting on your body — and to actually feel good about it.
